English: Glaslyn Nature Reserve Glaslyn is the largest reserve operated by the Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust. From their website:
"The reserve has several distinct habitat types, the largest being heather moorland. The Trust is increasing the area of this valuable habitat at Glaslyn by returning an area of agriculturally improved grassland to heather moorland. The mix of heathers, bilberry and crowberry provide cover and food for red grouse, wheatear, skylark and ring ouzel." Llyn Glaslyn is visible and is mostly in adjoining square SN8294. |
