English: Glen Kindie The Victorian six-inch Ordnance Survey map confirms what I thought on seeing this rickle o' stanes with the remains of sheltering trees, namely that there was once a house here. However the map does not name it. The Kindie Burn runs at the foot of the glen, and a couple of trees on the distance skyline mark where the farm of Ardler stands. |
