The notch of the northern end of Glen Tilt is seen in the distance from the summit of Carn Bhac (920M.)Glen Tilt was the subject of a celebrated trespass in 1847 leading to an action by The Scottish Rights of Way Society establishing the right of the public to pass through this route. It was traversed by Queen Victoria on horseback from Blair Atholl to Balmoral in 1861. |
