  • Italiano: Wilhelm von Gloeden (1856-1931). Pietro Caspano, nudo, inginocchiato su un altro modello disteso, anch'egli nudo, in una posa che si richiama allo stesso tempo alla tradizionale iconografia del "Compianto sul Cristo morto" e alle scene neoclassiche di "Achille che piange la morte dell'amico Patroclo", in questo periodo considerata da taluni una scena di compianto omosessuale. Numero di catalogo: 0482. Cm 24x18.
  • English: Wilhelm von Gloeden (1856-1931). Pietro Caspano, naked, kneeling on another reclining model, also naked, in a pose that hints at the same time to the traditional iconography of the "Lamentation over the dead Christ" and the neoclassical scenes of "Achilles mourning the death of his friend Patroclus", which in this period was considered by some to be a scene of homosexual mourning.
