English: Early World War II 449th Bombardment Group emblem, based on the first emblem of Fifteenth Air Force. A copy of this emblem was down loaded from Strategic-Air-Command.com for use in my book “STRATEGIC AIR COMMAND An Organizational History” with the permission and approval of Marvin T. Broyhill, Webmaster.
