English: Gully in Chopwell Wood Chopwell Wood besides being an active forestry plantation has also been developed as a major recreational resource for the people of Gateshead and surrounding areas. http://www.jadz.demon.co.uk/focw This gully near the southern boundary of the wood is crossed by the 7.5 km "Boundary Walk". A flight of steps has been installed down to the stream and up on the far side. |
