English: Gypsum train near Kingscourt, near to Kingscourt, Cavan, Ireland.
A laden gypsum train, from Kingscourt, approaching the level crossing to the south of the old station. It was closed to passengers but was still used to load gypsum from the mine in the background. The signal (top left) was a fixed-at-caution distant protecting Enniskean gates (the next level crossing on the line). Note: railway not shown on the Google map. |
