English: U.S. Marines and sailors with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron-469 attached to Joint task Force 505 stand in front of their UH-1Y Hueys at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal, May 9. HMLA-469 is contributing to an international joint-service humanitarian aid mission in Nepal after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the country, April 25. In response to the Nepal earthquake, the U.S. military sent Airmen, Marines, Soldiers and Sailors as part of JTF 505 to support the humanitarian assistance and disaster relief mission in Nepal at the direction of U.S. Agency for International Development.
