English: HMS 'Euryalus' (1901) and unnamed Ketch of the Royal Yacht Squadron in Stokes Bay Looking south-east from Stokes Bay during the Coronation Naval Review at Spithead. In the foreground is an unnamed ketch flying the White Ensign and burgee of the Royal Yacht Squadron, Cowes. On the left, in the middle distance, is the armoured cruiser 'Euryalus' (1901), dressed overall, with the tripod mast and superstructure of the battleship 'Dreadnought' (1906) just showing behind her. Behind the ketch can be seen the masts and funnel of a King Edward VII class battleship. To the right of the ketch is 'Carnarvon' (1903), an armoured cruiser, with the masts and funnels of the battleship 'Hibernia' (1905) behind. |
