English: Funeral hatchment in StMary's Church, Avington, Hampshire, to Lady Anne Brydges (d.1836), daughter and sole heiress of James Brydges, 3rd Duke of Chandos and wife of Richard Nugent-Temple-Grenville, 1st Duke of Buckingham and Chandos, KG (1776-1839). In April 1796, aged 20, the then Earl Temple married the Lady Anne Brydges, and in accordance with stipulations in the marriage settlement / will of the brides father, adopted the further surnames of Brydges and Chandos (thus becoming quintuple-barreled Temple-Nugent-Brydges-Chandos-Grenville), and the arms of Brydges and Chandos. Arms: Quarterly of 7:
The dexter escutcheon is circumscribed by the Garter; the sinister escutcheon, within a wreath of laurel, is charged with an inescutcheon of pretence of Brydges (of 8 quarters):
