Summary
[edit]DescriptionHawes railway station (geograph 3260096).jpg |
English: Hawes railway station Taken in 1992, just before the old station was opened as a museum. There are tracks here now, and a small tank engine and three coaches evoking the past. The Wensleydale Railway have a long term aim of reopening Hawes station to traffic, as part of their even more ambitious plans to restore the route of the railway from Redmire to Garsdale Junction, on the Settle - Carlisle route. |
