| Description |
English: Hawkhurst Common Wood Once common land enclosed in the 19th century and now, as the sign states, private land. The wood was linked with the Kent town from which it derives its name being common land available initially for swine pasture and later sheep drovers. The southern part has been planted since enclosure. |
