Summary
[edit]DescriptionHealey mills marshalling yard - geograph.org.uk - 1138899.jpg |
English: Healey mills marshalling yard There's always a unique atmosphere with railways at night. The white flood lights of Healey Mills created an eerie, ghostly atmosphere in this now forlorn train grave yard.
Today the depot has no motive power allocated there, apart for long rows of condemened locomotives and rolling stock. These rusting hulks of engines now await there final journey, a tow to the breakers yard. The line up of locomotives are all class 56's and one class 08 shunter 088865 For more pictures of the yard see here https://www.flickr.com/photos/phill_dvsn/sets/72157613018688055/detail/ |
