Svenska: Bygelrepetergevär Marlin Model Golden 39 A cal. 22 long, long rifle rf, serienr 282262.
Rund, blånerad, räfflad pipa (Micro-Groove, 16 räfflor), åttsidig kammare med stämplad signering på ovansidan: “MARLIN FIRE-ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN CT., U.S.A. // PAT.D JAN. 18. 1887, APRIL 2. 1889, AUG. 12 1890, MAR. 1. 1892”.
Under pipan rörmagasin för 26 short, 21 long och 19 long rifle patroner.
Bygelrepetermekanism av flamhärdat stål med sidutkastare, på undersidan stämplat serienr 282262, på svansjärnet märkt "MARLIN // MODEL 97".
Halvstock i två delar av valnöt (Black American walnut) med kolvkappa av bakelit med runt firmamärke (fraktur) M F A C, ovanpå cirkeln MARLIN och nedanför den SAFETY. I cirkeln dessutom inskuret ägarmärke T.
