Français : La sculpture représente Hermès, le dieu grec du commerce. Il est représenté comme un jeune homme debout, la tête de face, le corps de profil, les jambes de face et le pied gauche en avant. Il est accompagné de trois de ses attributs: il porte un casque et des sandales ailés et tient dans ses mains le caducée, c'est-à-dire un bâton ailé entouré de deux serpents, symbole du commerce.
