English: Hermitage Water and Castle Hermitage Castle stands ghostly behind the trees and the fast flowing Hermitage Water. Made all the more sinister by the fact you cannot access the grounds in winter time. This Castle's robust and foreboding walls must have many bloody tales to tell. It's a pity it's not open in the winter when there seems to be more of an atmosphere about the place. |
