DescriptionHike to Pilot Rock Soda Mountain Wilderness.webm |
English: Summer hiking and rock scrambling in the Soda Mountain Wilderness to the top of Pilot Rock, June 22, 2019. BLM video: Greg Shine
The Soda Mountain Wilderness encompasses a rich biological and geological diversity in the mountains southeast of Ashland, Oregon. Pilot Rock is one of the most striking features within the wilderness and all of the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument. It is visible from much of the Shasta Valley in northern California, parts of Oregon's Rogue Valley and the millions of annual drivers on I-5. |
