fi elle vient à fe figer , ilsavalent les fouris & les mulots, les petitsoifeaux tout entiers, & en rendent parle bec, les os, les plumes & les peauxroulées, leurs excrémens font blancs &liquides comme c^ux de tous les autresoifeaux de proie , dans la belle faifon y,la plupart de ces oifeaux vont le foirdans les bois voifins ^ mais ils reviennenttous les matins à leur retraite ordinaire,où ils dorment & ronflent Jufquauxheitres du foir, & quand la nuit arrive >ils fe laiffent tomber de leur trou, 8c^volent en culbutant prefque jufquà terre \ïorfque le froid eft rigoureux , on lestrouve quelquefois cinq ou fix dans lemême trou, ou cachées dans les four-rages 5 elles y cherchent labri , Tairtempéré & la nourriture 5 les fouris fonten effet alors en plus grand nombredans les granges que dans tout autretemps : en automne, elles vont fouventvifiter pendant la nuit les lieux où foua tendu des rejettoires & des lacets pour hnt.H.
