  • Significance: Wall construction: Brick, front elevation in Flemish bond with stone lintels including moulded keystones. Size and form: Rectangular, two stories with two-story rear ell. Exterior openings, doors: Wooden doorway of good character in Late Georgian design. Cornice: Wooden, with scroll modillions and dentils. ... Year of erection: 1820. Built for (first owner): Michael Campbell. Federal soldiers stationed at house in Civil War. Owned by nieces of original builder, Miss Carrie Campbell and Mrs. Frank L. Ross.
