Hjälmprydnad i form av vesselhorn, 1776-1777.

Description
Svenska: Hjälmprydnad i form av vesselhorn (enl. gula liggaren buffelhorn) tillverkad av gipsbeklädd linneväv, kvadrerad i svart och guld. Hornen går ihop nertill och avslutas med ett utstickande fäste. Mot basen där hornen går ihop finns fragmentariska spår av en svart bock, i skadan är en spik fästad.
Vesselhorn är en typisk nordisk typ av hjälmprydnadshorn utan motsvarighet i verkligheten. Formen känns igen genom mynningarna upptill på hornen. Typen ska inte förväxlas med bronsålderslurar eller elefantsnablar, vilken den ibland beskrivs som utanför norden. (Ur "Heraldiken i Sverige", Lund 2001)
