| Description |
English: Hoar Oak Tree This tree is on or near the boundary of Devon (top left of picture) and Somerset delineated by the path line. Hoar Oak water can be seen at bottom, approximately 2km from its source. The current tree stands on the east bank of the stream and, it has been fenced to protect if from grazing animals. The previous tree was believed to be over 200 years old and it blew down in a storm in 1916. Source: http://www.twomoorsway.org.uk/Route8.html . |
