Summary[edit]

Description
English: Small house on E. 5th Street, LaPlace, Louisiana, about 4 doors upriver from the Woodland Plantation House aka 1811 Kid Ory House Museum.

John McCusker, curator of the 1811/Kid Ory House Museum, says that it may be the house Kid Ory was born in, and if not is architecturally the same. This was originally one of a row of identical buildings behind the "big house" at Woodland Plantation.
