Summary

[edit]
Description Upon grabbing the stem to tip the mushroom back and have a look at the gills, the stem turned blue instantly. I took the specimen back home for spore printing (unfortunately it was too old to take a print) and by the time I got there, at least half the blue had disappeared. With in an hour all the blue had disappeared and the stem would not re-bruise. When time permits I'm going to do some microscopy to see if any spores are clinging to the gills.
