English: Mr. Michael Formica, regional director of Installation Management Command Europe, delivers a speech at a ribbon cutting ceremony at Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base, Romania on July 17, 2017. The completed motor pool that was officially opened is the first of eight projects that are a part of the European Reassurance Initiative at MK, a US-led operation demonstrating the lasting US commitment to its NATO Allies. “As we enhance this installation's infrastructure and construct new facilities, we are also building on our collective strength. The improvements here and at Novo Selo Training Area in Bulgaria show that the United States is committed to a stable Black Sea Region,” he said. (Photo by US Army Pfc.
