Summary
[edit]DescriptionIf We Save Tuvalu, We Save the World.webm |
English: It’s not fiction, it’s a fact. Tuvalu is sinking. The impacts of climate change (extreme weather and sea-level rise) are challenging this small island nation's security and survival.
Tuvalu is one of the lowest atolls on earth - making it one of the first nations that will lose its land and way of life. It can only be saved if global warming is mitigated to 1.5 degrees or less. If the global community is able to save Tuvalu, it will signal that we have taken major steps toward saving vulnerable areas around the world. An interview with Prime Minister of Tuvalu Enele Sopoaga.
