Nederlands: Akko. Door de deuropening is een zogenaamde dodencel van binnen zichtbaar. Annotatie: Een citadel is een (vaak stervormige) versterking die een vestingstad domineert en zelfstandig verdedigbaar maakt. Toen de Britten Akko veroverden brachten ze verschillende veranderingen aan in het gebouw. Ze maakten van het hele gebouw de centrale gevangenis van Palestina.
