Description
Deutsch: Zwischen der puente del Cardenal und der neuen Straßenbrücke der EX-208 Plasencia–Trujillo im Hintergrund, die alte Straße verläuft auf dieser Uferseite praktisch durchgehend im möglichen Stauraum des Alcántara-Stausees. Der Wasserstand bei Vollstau wird zwar offenbar jährlich erreicht, jedoch nur über kürzere Zeiträume. Mehrjährige Pflanzen halten sich in diesem Bereich nicht, doch die alte Straße wird, wenn sie trocken fällt, wie die Puente del Cardenal als Wanderweg genutzt. Zum Aufnahmezeitpunkt ist sie problemlos mit dem Fahrrad befahrbar.
Das Straßenwärterhaus links liegt über dem höchsten Wasserstand.
