Description
Deutsch: Von der B‌rückenrampe der Geithainer Straße Richtung Norden, der zweigleisige Abschnitt zwischen Paunsdorf und Engelsdorf Werkstätten ist trotz äußerlicher Ähnlichkeit kein Bahnhof, sondern zweigleisige Strecke zwischen zwei Überleitstellen. Seit dem Umbau 2003/04 besteht hier Gleiswechselbetrieb, das vordere Richtungsgleis Leipzig–Geithain wird wegen der Geschwindigkeitsreduktion in den abzweigenden Weichensträngen nur befahren, wenn sich hier Züge begegnen.
Mit dem Verlagern des Ablaufbetriebes nach Halle (Saale) wurde das Bw Engelsdorf geschlossen. Das Dach des Werkstattgebäudes ist schon weitgehend verschwunden.
