Description
Deutsch: Richtung Westen, im Hintergrund wartet die niederländische Gleichstrommaschine der Reihe 1700. Das Ausfahrsignal zeigt für das Wegsetzen der bis hier laufenden 101 Sh 1. Durch einzeln umschaltbare Fahrleitungsabschnitte sind im Systemwechselbahnhof Bad Bentheim alle Rangierbewegungen mit elektrischen Triebfahrzeugen möglich, und das auch gleichzeitig mit beiden Spannungen. Wegen der hohen Oberströme bei 1,5 kV Gleichspannung sind die Hauptgleise trotz der deutschen Fahrleitung mit Doppelfahrdraht überspannt.
