Description
English: Jessheim – Herredshuset is a postcard featuring the Ullensaker Herredshus located in Jessheim, Ullensaker municipality, Norway. Published 1947–1949. This is a cropped copy of an image from the online collections of the National Library of Norway.
  • Herredshuset på Jessheim ("The old town hall in Jessheim") is a wooden building designed by the Norwegian architect Holger Sinding-Larsen and built in 1901. The building housed municipal offices (until 1967), a banquet hall, etc. It underwent expansion and modifications in 1923 and 1951.

  • Herredshuset på Jessheim er i dag et rødmalt stashus bygd i tre, tegnet av arkitekten Holger Sinding-Larsen i dragestil, reist på en tomt gitt av kjøpmann Ole Gotaas og innviet i 1901, med kommunelokaler, festsal og lokaler for banken. Bygningen ble utvidet og endret i 1923 og 1951 og fungerte som Ullensaker kommunes administrasjonsbygning til 1967.

This is according to § 23 in the Norwegian Åndsverkloven.

Under the former photo law, protection ended 25 years after creation, provided that more than 15 years had passed since the photographer's death or the photographer is unknown. The image is in the public domain if the protection ended before 29 June 1995 under the older term.[1]
