Magyar: 1956-os magyarországi forradalom. A Swiss Air Line repülőjén érkezett menekült kisgyermek fogadása a zürichi repülőtér alkalmazottai által. — 1956. november 6-án az osztrák kormány és az ENSZ Menekültügyi Főbiztosságának felhívására a svájci Szövetségi Tanács (Conseil fédéral) bejelentette, hogy Svájc kész befogadni 2000 menekültet, de már korábban többen érkeztek Ausztrián keresztül. A semleges Ausztria már 1956. október 28-án megnyitotta a határát, november 4-e után naponta több ezren lépték át a határt, november 22–26-a között 46 ezer menekültet regisztráltak. ...Az osztrák belügyminisztérium adatai szerint 1956. december 10-ig 126 496, december 31-ig összesen 165 361 magyar menekültet vettek nyilvántartásba.
