Description
English: Entry in the register of deaths about passing of Jakub Jan Ryba (1765–1815), a teacher, regenschori and the author of a famous piece Czech Christmas Mass. The way in which he died is depicted as follows: Jakub Ryba, a teacher, cut his trachea and carotid artery on 8 April.(State Regional Archives in Prague, Collection of registers and related documents, Central Bohemian Region, sign. Starý Rožmitál-řk 20.)
Čeština: Matriční zápis o úmrtí učitele, regenschori a autora slavné skladby Česká mše vánoční Jakuba Jana Ryby (1765–1815), ve kterém je popsán i způsob úmrtí: Jakub Ryba, učitel, si 8. dubna přeřízl dýchací trubici a krční tepnu. S ohledem na dobové zvyklosti byl pohřben bez církevních obřadů a mimo posvěcenou půdu hřbitova. K přenesení jeho ostatků na nový starorožmitálský hřbitov došlo až o čtyřicet let později.(SOA v Praze, Sbírka matrik a průvodní listinný materiál, Středočeský kraj, sign. Starý Rožmitál-řk 20.)
