Notes
  • Significance: John Turn, farmer, carpenter and cabinet maker, began farming here about 1830, and built the house and barn. His grandson, Charles, ran the property as a model farm. The date of construction of the lime kiln is unknown, but kilns such as this were built throughout the 19th century and were common on farms where a supply of limestone was available.
