Original historic description: Zentralbild-CTK 1.6.57 Sc-I Erfolgreicher Auftritt deutscher Künstler auf dem "Prager Frühling 1957" Franz Konwitschny dirigierte Im Rahmen der zur Zeit in der tschechoslowakischen Hauptstadt stattfindenden internationalen Musikfestspiele "Prager Frühling" wurde ein Konzert des Prager Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchesters unter Leitung von Professor Franz Konwitschny zu einem großen Erfolg. Höhepunkt des Konzerts war die Aufführung von Carl Orffs Kantate "Carmina burana", die erstmalig in der CSR erklang. Professor Konwitschny, Chormeister Professor Kuehn, die tschechoslowakischen Vokalisten Subrtova, Votava, Srunar, sowie der Chor und das Orchester, die Orffs Werk als Ergebnis einer deutsch-tschechoslowakischen Zusammenarbeit in seiner vollen Schönheit erstehen ließen, wurden von dem internationalen Publikum stürmisch gefeiert.
