Description
Deutsch: Südostansicht der Stephaniewarte am 484 Metern hohen Gipfel des Kahlenberges im 19. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Döbling, rechts davon der 1974 errichtete 165 Meter hohe Senderturm und links ein 2016/17 erneuerter und von 135 auf 400 m³ vergrößerter Wasserbehälter.
Die 22 Meter hohe Aussichtswarte wurde nach Plänen des Architektenbüros Fellner & Helmer im Auftrag der Kahlenberg-Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft an der Endstation der Kahlenbergbahn errichtet und am 29. Mai 1887 unter der Bezeichnung „Kronprinzessin Stephanie-Warte“ eröffnet. Aktuell (2018) wird sie vom Touristenverein „Die Naturfreunde" betreut und ist in den Sommermonaten am Wochenende zugänglich.
