"writing to me as a duty that must be done. Now that I have written that, my hope is that hereafter you will want to write. I wonder if that is taking too much for granted. Something in one of your letters led me to suppose that perhaps I sometimes do. Now of course you don't know to what I am referring but I shall tell you someday. The next time I see you. Four times two weeks that does not seem very long but it means a great many days and each day will add a little to my desire to see you.
