Description
Svenska: Fäste av efterkarolinsk typ för kavalleriofficer. Av förgyllt, slätt silver, utmed samtliga lister en smal, slät list. Klotformig knapp med en vertikal, på mitten vidgad list på fram- och baksidan, stor nitknapp av omvänt päronform. Handbygelns överdel fäst vid knappens mitt medelst en genom överdelensuppvikta fot dragen skruv av förgyllt silver. På utsidan av inre parerplåten inskription i tre rader (skrivstil): "Till dess fordna Chef General Majoren mm Gillis Edenhjelm af Kongl. Götha Artilleri Regemente". På insidan av bakre parerstången fyra kontrollstämplar: I P G, S:t Erik, tre kronor, D 4 (Johan Petter Grönvall, Stockholm 1834, Svenskt Silversmide 4 sid. 168).
Kavellindning av tvinnad, smal silvertråd.

Klinga rak, eneggad utom vid det ca 220 mm långa spetspartiet, där tvåeggad. Intill 577 mm från basen etsad ornering, blånerad och delvis utsparad mot förgylld botten. Vid basen på båda sidor ett rätvinkligt rutnät inom en förgylld ram, därefter på utsidan lejon hållande ett standar med tre kronor; trofégrupp med halvrustning och två fanor; fasces med korslagda sablar; örn med blixtknippe i klorna; Karl XIV Johans namnchiffer under kunglig krona; sju femuddiga stjärnor samt korslagda lager- och palmrankor, därefter bladranka, polerad mot mattpunsad botten.
På insidan: korslagda kanoner; lejon; sköldar; korslagda fanor; halvrustning; korslagda svärd; banér med Guds allseende öga; F J O krönt av kronprinskrona (Frans Josef Oscar - Oscar I); strålande nordstjärna. Orneringen därefter lika som den på utsidan.
På klingryggen signatur i skrivstil: "Liljedahl, Stockholm". Ryggen i sin helhet förgylld och med längsgående ekblad.
