Italian Ambassador, Mr. Whitelaw Reid, the Ameri-can Ambassador, and Sir Rennell Redd, the BritishAmbassador at Rome, for it was the timely inter-vention of a group of American citizens, who electedSir Rennell Rodd their chairman and enlisted thesympathies of the King of Italy, that resulted insecuring the house in which Keats died at Romeas a permanent Memorial to the poet ; and so farmost of the money towards paying off the debton the house has come from America. Mr. Asquith and Mr. Balfour ha^e promised toattend the first matinee, and Sir John Shelley willbe present, as representative of the Shelley family. The matinees will commencecomposed by Mr. ArnoldBax, and the recital byMiss Genevieve Wardof seven stanzas fromAdonais. with a prelude

This willbe Mr. Forbes Robertsons only appearance on theLondon stage this season.
