Summary
| Description |
Medieval Mile Museum in St. Mary's Church, Kilkenny, County Kilkenny, Ireland English: 16th-century altar tomb of the Roche family at the west wall of the north transept. This tomb was buried in the 18th century to raise the floor of the north transept and rediscovered in 2015. It is now exhibited in the Medieval Mile Museum. Some colors of the original decoration are still to be seen. However, unfortunately a violet beam lingered on this monument when this photo was taken. Hence, I had to convert this to black and white to avoid the irritating effect of the violet beam. |
