English: King’s Road and Palace Pier, Brighton, Sussex

Glass photonegative depicting Brighton Beach, seafront, and the Palace Pier, looking east. Numerous fishing boats adapted for pleasure purposes are shown along the beach as well as the capstans to which they have been chained. The steamer Brighton Queen (1) can be seen beyond the end of the pier.
