| Description |
English: Kingston Brook near Kingston The bridge is not simply a farm bridge across the brook. It used to carry the railway line which served the Kingston Gypsum Mine. The railway may have originated as a tramroad linking the mine to the River Soar, but latterly came down from the mine from the east, passing under the main line before sweeping round across the bridge and climbing up to exchange sidings at Kegworth Station. |
