| Description |
English: Kitson Field, East Sussex Gliding Club Viewed from the footpath that follows the parish boundary of Ringmer and Laughton. Occupying a field known as Great Broyle in the 1839 tithe map part of a former medieval deer park and common enclosed in 1767. The area south of the modern B2192 seems to have had few initial takers as it still marked as parkland on Yeakell & Gardner's map of 1783. A plane has just exited the hangar on the right probably to take this glider up as none of the others had been taken out of storage. |
