English: Knucklas station, 1999. View westward, towards Llandrindod Wells, Llandovery and Swansea (via Llanelli): ex-LNWR Central Wales line, (Shrewsbury) - Craven Arms - Llandrindod Wells - Llandovery - Llandeilo - Pontadulais - Swansea. (Since 6/64 when the line from Pontadulais to Swansea Victoria was closed, services have run to Llanelli and reversed there to continue to Swansea High St.). Ahead is Bwlch-y-Plain (1,266 ft.). |
