| Description |
English: The lift span of the bridge over the Dnieper River in Kremenchuk, Ukraine. This is the west side of the bridge, viewed from a beach on the river's north bank. The double-deck bridge carries road traffic on its upper level and trains on its lower level. When a ship on the river needs higher clearance, the bridge's lower deck (only) can be raised ('telescoped' into the upper deck's girder structure) without affecting traffic on the upper deck.
