Description |
-*- The style of the painting and the costume suggest that this pair of portraits (no. B.153 and no. B.154) was painted in France in about 1560. The woman's heavy gold chains and ornate gold girdle suggest considerable wealh. She carries a jewelled pomander in her right hand. The monogram GC is problably authentic but has not been deciphered. Okänd konstnär. |
