Miniat, une croix Grecque à la main,pour signe de son Martyre, & avec uriManteau & une Couronne Royale en tête,suivant lopinion dalors qui en faisait unRoi dArménie. Elle est vraisemblablement du XI Siè-cle, lors du rétablissement de VEglise trèsancienne de S. Miniat du Mont, par Ude-prand Evêque de Florence, rétablissementdont le Docteur Jean Lami parle ample-ment dans lHistoire Ecclésiastique Flo-rentine. Malgré le mauvais goût & lesincorrections remarquées par Vasari dansle visage, les mains & les pieds, la dra-perie en est majestueuse & naturelle, & onny remarque rien de particulier sinonquen divisant la figure dans sa longueur,une partie est parfaitement semblable à* F autre.
