Summary[edit]

Description
English: Mid-City New Orleans, Canal Street at Davis Parkway. Foundation platform under recently removed Jefferson Davis Monument. For several days after the monument was removed it was occupied by protesters waiving Confederate battle flags. Now it has returned to quiet. Someone put up an unofficial replacement monument on the platform: raised letters spelling out L O V E. Photo by Infrogmation of New Orleans, May 2017.
