Description

La bâtiment de la Philharmonie Kulturforum

Ouvert en 1963, le bâtiment, avec un toit en forme de tente, et un espace intérieur devenu par la suite un modèle pour les salles de concert, a été conçu par l'architecte Hans Scharoun, qui a ainsi inauguré un nouveau style : l'architecture dite organique.

En 1984 puis en 1988, Edgar Wisniewski, un proche d'Hans Scharoun a construit deux bâtiments adjacents dans le même style, l'un pour le musée des instruments de musique et l'autre pour les concerts de musique de chambre.
