Vicente de la Fuente (Historia de lasUniversidades, Colegios y demás establecimientos de esnseñanza en España, 1884, Tomo I) con la noticiaque va en el texto. Lo más moderno y mejor sobre Universidades españolas es el magnifico discurso inau-gural en la Universidad Central por D. Adolfo Bonilla y San Martin (1.° Octubre 1914). (2) Se dice que la Universidad de Bolonia fué fundada en el siglo V. Lo cierto es que, a fines del siglo XI,Irnerius inició alli el estudio del Derecho Romano, a que debió aquel Estudio su celebridad. Todas las Facul-tades de Filosofía han sido organizadas en la Edad Media por el modelo de la universidad de París; todaslas Facultades de Derecho por el modelo de la de Bolonia (Thurot, De lorganisation de lenseignementdans V Universiié de Paris au Moyen-Age-Paris-Besauzere, 1850). La Universidad no parece, sin embargo,perfectamente organizada hasta mediados del siglo XII. 117
