Summary
[edit]DescriptionLairig an Laoigh from south west ridge of Beinn a'Chaorainn, Cairngorms - geograph.org.uk - 942437.jpg |
English: Lairig an Laoigh from south west ridge of Beinn a'Chaorainn, Cairngorms Taken from the crags at the edge of the ridge overlooking the bealach, while waiting to check on the progress of a Duke of Edinburgh Award "Gold" group walking through from Tomintoul to Blair Atholl. This must have been a great vantage point in the old days of cattle raiding and clan feuds. The lower part of Coire Etchachan is visible at the top of the picture. |
